Disturbed… venting February 26, 2008

I am happy I got over this band along time ago..

They are remaking one of their very old songs “Perfect Insanity”, one of their better works. Before “The Sickness”.

I got to hear a preview of it, and I fear the worst.

And I am gonna say this straight up: John Moyer is just a fucking tool compared to Fuzz. Fuzz is levels better than John on band communication. John will never compare to the skill Fuzz has, and the remake of “Perfect Insanity” will prove it.

And no, I don’t think John is the only problem. David, as good of a vocalist he is, needs to get his egotistical head out of his ass. It should be the band’s band, not your band.

Dan is an alright guitarist, and Disturbed certainly does not show his skill. But hey, what can you expect from a nu-metal band?

Mike has always been good at drums, but he sucks at making beats to fit all aspects of the song. You can tell the drums were made to just fit Dan, or just to keep a constant beat of the song without complimenting any aspect of the song.

Looking back, I can’t believe a gave this band as much praise as I did.

To any die hard disturbed fan out there– actualy — to any die hard nu-metal fan out there: There is better music, with much better communication and skill. Listen to real fucking metal, not bull shit that claims to be so.

I’ve been listening to “Melovine” allot lately, more than I ever have since I have watched them grow since the end of 2006. I have been especially enjoying their songs “Bullets Over Stars” and “Blown Away”. And I have got to say, I am digging these guys. I don’t usually listen to bands like this one, but I am still able to enjoy them. They definitely know how to do their job: Rock out :D . Congrats guys, you have just made a regular every day listener of yours into a fan. You are lucky, very lucky ^_^.
You people need to listen to these guys, they rock ;)
